About Jack

Jack Scargill writes the stay smart desk: the guides for people deciding where to sleep, how long to stay and how to make a longer stay work. He has lived locally all his life, so he can explain the difference between the East Cliff and Westbourne, or Poole Quay and Ashley Cross, in the terms that matter to a guest: noise, parking, walking time to the beach and to the station.

He writes for the Flexiestays team and spends much of his time on the questions long-stay guests ask: what a month in Bournemouth costs, how a serviced apartment compares with a rental, what to sort in the first week after moving for work, and how to get here from London by train, coach or car.
