Where they cluster
Hotels concentrate along the clifftop between West Cliff and East Cliff, directly above the pier and the Lower Gardens — the classic Bournemouth seafront position, reached from the promenade by a lift or a short zig-zag path rather than a flat walk. Aparthotels and serviced apartments are more spread out, with a strong cluster in the town centre and further options in Boscombe and Southbourne for anyone prioritising a lower rate or a quieter street over the clifftop view.
Parking and getting around
Parking is rarely unlimited and often charged separately from the room rate — confirm it at booking, particularly in July and August when on-street parking near the seafront becomes genuinely difficult. Choosing by trip length
