About this photograph
The photograph captures a charming picnic scene inside a vintage train carriage. A wicker picnic basket is open, revealing a floral cloth and a plate of scones topped with cream and strawberries. In the background, through the rain-specked window, the iconic ruins of Corfe Castle are visible on a green hillside, suggesting a cool, overcast day.
