The cocktail list is the main draw, backed up by a short food menu of sharing plates, pizzas and loaded nachos rather than a full sit-down restaurant offering. A recurring happy hour runs from 6-8pm Tuesday to Friday, with drinks at half price, which suits the venue’s early transition from bar to club. Where it is
Old Christchurch Road is one of Bournemouth’s busiest evening and night-time strips, sitting between the main shopping streets and the clubs and bars clustered towards the Lansdowne. That puts Bar Coast within easy reach on foot of both the town centre and the seafront, useful if a night out is bookending a day at Bournemouth Beach or a visit to the pier.
